Stories from Parents Around the World
It’s always exciting to see our message being spread by celebrities and high profile public figures. And you don’t get much more public or high profile than Kate Middleton, the English Princess. The latest members of the English royal family, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were reportedly introduced to our world with the aid of Hypnobirthing techniques and breathing. The Duchess of Cambridge made the decision to deliver her royal babies in a natural, gentle way with the help of Hypnobirthing. Kate was actually the latest in a long line of famous women who took control and used hypnobirthing to remain relaxed and calm throughout the delivery of their children.
Jessica Alba even says she “highly recommends” Hypnobirthing. “It’s not like the clock in front of your face and you go out and you wake up and you got a baby,” Jessica recently explained on The Ellen DeGeneres show. “Basically, my husband takes me through sort of a meditation. So he’s saying, ‘You’re relaxed and you’re floating on clouds,’ while you’re going through labor and your contractions.”
Tiffani Thiessen was dedicated to Hypnobirthing when she gave birth to her daughter, Harper Renn. Talking before the birth, Tiffani said, “I’m going to give a Girl Scout effort to Hypnobirthing.”
Celebrity mum-of-six Angelina Jolie apparently used hypnobirthing tools and relaxation techniques when she gave birth via caesarean to her twins Vivienne and Knox.
Busy Phillips decided to let nature take its course, with a little help from Hypnobirthing. “I really believe that this is something our bodies are able to do naturally, and we should get out of our body’s way and let it do it,” Busy said before she gave birth to her daughter, Birdie.
Model Gisele gave birth at home in her bathtub without any pain and stated:“The labor was more like meditation,” she says. “I did yoga breathing. I was focused.”
